CareCentric Announces Jane Bunch Leaving Company

HME billing expert to pursue independent consulting business

ATLANTA (January 31, 2008)—CareCentric ® Inc., the leading provider of technology, business-operation and outsourcing solutions for home health, home medical equipment and long-term care providers , announced today that Jane Bunch is leaving the company to pursue an independent speaking and consulting business.

Bunch joined CareCentric in 2005 with the company’s acquisition of her business, Jane’s Billing & Consulting Services. With an established reputation as an independent-minded HME industry expert, she has delivered numerous workshops at both the national and state level, and consulted on billing and reimbursement issues with providers throughout the country.

“Jane’s independence as a consultant is highly valued within her customer base and the industry, and we support her desire to continue on that path,” said CareCentric CEO and President Stewart Reed. “We appreciate her contributions to the company and know she will continue to provide a substantial service to HME providers in the coming years.”

Combining the purchase of Bunch’s billing business with its 2006 acquisition of Alternative Billing Solutions Inc. (ABS), CareCentric has built the HME industry’s largest outsourced billing services business. With billing centers in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Ohio, and Jamestown, N.D. CareCentric offers full service, from confirming orders, to submitting bills and working denials, to posting cash. The company also provides a range of consulting services that includes customized staff training and operational assessments, as well as consultation on competitive bidding and accreditation.

Headquartered in Atlanta, CareCentric delivers technology, business operation and IT outsourcing solutions to providers serving the entire post-acute care continuum—home health, private duty, hospice, home medical equipment, home pharmacy and long-term care. The company’s offerings include an array of software applications, along with information technology, business process and consulting services. By addressing its customers’ total management and operational needs, CareCentric allows them to focus on care delivery—enabling both business and clinical success.
