HomeCare Solutions Selects CareCentric’s Integrated, Internet-Based

Management Solution for Wide-Scale Implementation

ATLANTA, GA (April 25, 2005) - CareCentric,a leading provider of technology, business operation and outsourcing solutions for home care providers, announced today a major agreement with HomeCare Solutions, Inc. of Nashville, TN to implement CareCentric’s integrated, internet-based Ac-Cura™ Home Health management solution to over 100 users, including 65 field personnel, in nine branches throughout Tennessee.

“There were several factors which strongly influenced our decision to select Ac-Cura,” said Gloria Keen, COO of HomeCare Solutions. “With so many locations in different areas and plans to grow, the ability to operate from a centralized system was paramount for more efficient economies and immediate access to company-wide information. The internet-based, open technology of the Ac-Cura system provides us with a cutting edge, integrated solution that can grow with our needs.” Ms. Keen added, “Many of our clients are in very rural areas. Remote location has always caused productivity issues in terms of down time, system speed, back ups, updates, etc. The fact that CareCentric can host our system resolves those operational inefficiencies and leaves the worry of system upgrades, hardware needs, and disaster recovery issues in their hands.”

“We are very pleased with HomeCare Solution’s decision to consolidate their home health operations under the Ac-Cura system,” said Mike McGuire, Sr. Vice President of CareCentric. “They are one of our first multi-branch organizations to realize the power and flexibility of the Ac-Cura system and see the growth potential this solution can provide over time. As Gloria indicates operational issues revolving around rural locations will be virtually eliminated. With this type of platform, system access is quick and easy - anytime from anywhere.”

CareCentric’s new integrated, internet-based Ac-Cura, total home care management solution is currently available for home health, point of care and hospice. The home medical equipment business application will be available for general release in the Fall and HomeCare Solutions will be one of the first beta test sites. Designed under a single platform using Microsoft.NET® technology, Ac-Cura is capable of managing the financial, clinical and operational aspects of both single and multiple lines of business, including home health, hospice and home medical equipment. Completely integrated single patient and provider data entry means information is instantly available throughout the system – no need for duplicate entry. System features make processing claims fast and accurate; a number one priority made possible with on-line claim management, built-in payer authorizations, automated claim holds and missing data checks. Ac-Cura enables you to validate and correct claims for submission without ever leaving the system.
