HME Order Entry

Caretinuum provides fully-integrated order management capabilities. Identifying the patient’s needs, obtaining the physician’s order and verifying insurance are just the beginning of the steps required to complete an order. Keeping track of each order from beginning to end and providing logical navigation and business rules are strengths of Caretinuum's order entry function.

Advantages include:

  • Medical Documentation - With Caretinuum, you can reduce document handling, decrease the amount of time needed to manage your workflow and avoid the headaches that accompany misplaced documents. In addition to these advantages, Caretinuum helps you safeguard the security and privacy of your patients' healthcare information.
  • Authorization/CMN - Caretinuum allows the tracking of maximum quantity and dollar amounts for an authorized period of time. In addition, Caretinuum gives you the ability to automatically generate, edit and print CMNs one at a time or in batches. Caretinuum's reporting function provides you with the ability to quickly identify expiring authorizations and take action as needed. You'll also have access to reports to help you identify CMNs needing physician signatures or CMNs needing to be renewed.
  • Inventory Management - Inventory ties up your financial resources. Use Caretinuum's inventory system to keep track of the items you sell and the items you have on hand. Perform inventory transaction audits and take advantage of Caretinuum's history reporting to better manage this crucial part of your business.
  • Delivery - An efficient order entry and delivery process is vital to any HME organization. Caretinuum makes it easy to create delivery, pickup and exchange orders. You can print picking tickets individually or in batches, and you have the flexibility to choose the information that you want to capture before the order is posted to billing.
  • Point of Sale - The Point of Sale solution combines quick cash sales with full-featured data entry for HME sales and rentals. It enables full inventory control and bar-code integration, as well as walk-out invoices, insurance forms (both assigned and unassigned) and accounts receivable/sales analysis reports.

It will also provide work lists that can replace some of the paper reports you may currently be using to manage your daily work.
