Class Information:

Improving Intake (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday July 21, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
In this session the focus is on the Order Entry and order qualification tools and techniques that MestaMed® provides to assist the user in creating a quality order. We will discuss ways of monitoring deliveries and pick-up orders, using the recurring sales function and improving collections using Order Entry. The Point of Delivery tool, Delivery Assistant will also be reviewed.

It is assumed that persons attending this session have a basic understand of MestaMed® HME Order Entry.

Improving Billing (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday August 11, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
In this course, you will learn the necessary parameter and data file setup requirements, how to implement proper quality assurance techniques for working the Billing Edit List and develop the tools to streamline your bill production. You will also improve your knowledge of billing forms and acquire the skills to monitor held revenue.

Improving Collections & A/R Management (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday September 15, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
Accounts Receivable problems often result from conditions unrelated to the payer. In this session, we will review Cash Receipts Entry and Claims Management functions and procedures. Parameter and data file setup, order qualification tools and proper billing procedures will be included in this discussion along with the various collection tools available in MestaMed®.

A basic understanding of MestaMed® is essential.

MestaMed® ECS & ERN (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday October 13, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
Learn to identify and correct problems in the Electronic Claims Submission process with this review of the MestaMed® Billing System and the ECS and ERN Menu functions. The various communication protocols used to transmit claims and receive reports is included. You will also lean the meaning of common error codes and how best to correct the errors.

A basic understanding of the MestaMed® Billing System is recommended.

MestaMed® Management Reporting (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday November 10, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
This is a discussion of the many reports available to all MestaMed® users. Not all of these reports will be appropriate to your business. How can you tell which reports are right for you? This session will give you a better understanding of the information available in MestaMed®’s standard reports.

Introduction to Med-Write (2 Hours - $100) Tuesday December 8, 2009 ~ (2:00 PM Eastern)
The objective of this seminar is to assist new users in understanding the Med-Write report writer, and to provide guidelines for those who have not yet begun to use it. We will discuss creation of reports, labels, form letters and output files with Med-Write and present practical examples of how to use the various features.

Using Recurring Sales (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
This session will explain the use of MestaMed® Scheduled Orders and offer suggestions for using this feature efficiently.

Using Timely Filing (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
The session will explain the setup and use of the Timely Filing feature of the MestaMed® Billing System.

MestaMed® Asset Maintenance (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
The MestaMed® Asset Maintenance package is a sub-set of the Serialized Inventory system. It is designed to assist the user in scheduling, recording and reporting on maintenance activities for specific rental assets by Serial Number.

It is assumed the persons attending this session have a solid understanding of the MestaMed® Serialized Inventory System.

Using Collection Tools (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
Private Pay Collection Letters and the Automated A/R Follow up functions will be explained in this one-hour session.

Using Set A/R Status Codes & Create Write-Off Cash Transactions (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
This session will review the Set A/R Status Codes option,which permits status codes to be assigned to a range of invoices to facilitate write-off, re-bill or other followup. We will also discuss the Create Write-Off Cash Transactions function, which can also be used to transfer balances to a different payer.

Using Resubmit Bills (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
This session is designed to provide guidance in using the Resubmission features in the MestaMed® Billing System.

MestaMed® Special Price File Review (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
This session provides a review of the MestaMed® Special Price File. The information found in this file is used to accommodate exceptions to the information found on the Insurance Master File and the Inventory Description Master File. The purpose and use of these exceptions will be discussed in detail.

Using Update Allowed Prices (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
MestaMed® Patch Level Updates include Medicare Fee Schedules four times each year. This half-hour session will explain how to install those prices into the MestaMed® Special Price file.

Using Inventory Adjustments (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
This session will explain the use of the Inventory Adjustments module to correct on-hand quantities between physical counts.

Advanced Med-Write (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
In this follow-up to the Introduction to Med-Write, we will focus on the use the various Med-Write features and formulas to create more powerful and useful reports.

It is assumed that persons attending this session have a basic understanding of the Med-Write report writer.

MestaMed® Outcomes Reporting (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
MestaMed®'s Outcomes/Utilization Reporting System provides the tools to accumulate and report data based upon user-defined events and services rendered. Statistical information is gathered and reported based on criteria defined by the user. In this session, we will review the setup and configuration steps required to enable this function and the reports that are available.

Using the Report Spooler (30 min to 1 Hour- $75) On- Demand
This one-hour session will review and explain the features and functions found on the MestaMed® Report Spooler Menu.

Using Electronic CMNs (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
With CMN Communication Manager, documents can be automatically created and sent using information derived from Order Entry. This add-on package is designed to reduce paperwork and improve workflow while, at the same time, improving data security.

Persons attending this session should have a basic understanding of how MestaMed® handles CMN, WVO or DIF forms.

Using Update Rental/Inventory Info (30 min to 1 Hour - $75) On- Demand
In this one-hour session we will examine purpose and use of this tool that can update information in the Order, Billing and Special Price Files in addition to the Rental and Inventory

Using Duplicate Location Inventory (30 min to 1 Hour - $75) On- Demand
In this session, we will discuss the use of this tool for copying an Inventory Location File to setup a new location.

MestaMed® Parameters Review (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
MestaMed® is parameter-driven, with settings to control the appearance and function of nearly all facets of the application. This presentation will provide insight into the workings of these options which allow managers to configure the MestaMed® system in accordance with company policy. Both Setup and Advanced Parameters will be discussed in detail. A general familiarity with the MestaMed® System is recommended.

MestaMed® Period-End Processing (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
This session will review the various functions and reports of period end processing. End of Day, Month and Year will each be discussed. This session requires a basic understanding of the MestaMed® System and is recommended for those users who must perform any of the period-ending closing functions.

Using the A/R Trial Balance Report (30 min to 1 Hour - $75) On- Demand
The A/R Aging Report has numerous options and selection criteria. In this session we will discuss these options and recommend ways to use them.

MestaMed® Laser Forms Printing (1 to 2 Hours - $150) On- Demand
Many MestaMed® users would prefer to print forms such as 1500s and CMNs with faster, quieter laser printers instead of traditional impact printers. MestaMed® provides settings to accommodate forms alignment on laser printers. In this session we will examine the tools that will permit you to print laser forms.

This session is intended only for users who have not implemented the MestaMed® Graphical User Interface.

Using Claims Management (30 min to 1 Hour - $75) On- Demand
In this session we will examine the features and functions of the MestaMed® Claims Management and Claims Tracking applications.
