Healthcare Microsoft .NET Engineering Manager (position in Atlanta, GA):
Manage subordinate engineers engaged in the engineering (design, development, and implementation) of object-oriented software components on a Microsoft .NET framework, including web-based workflow and back office applications, for the post-acute healthcare market. Provide managerial guidance and direction to subordinate team members engaged in the developmental engineering of smart-client software components written in C#, using Internet Information Services (IIS) 6/7 and a Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 database, and developed in a Visual Studio 2005/2008 environment. Manage deployment of developed software components over the Internet as “software as a service” (SAAS) and subsequent testing of such software components. Ensure engineering team implementation of established software processes, standards, and policies.
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in software engineering, a computer or medical science, or a related field and three years of progressive experience (or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in software engineering, a computer or medical science, or a related field and five years of progressive experience) in the engineering (design, development, and implementation) of object-oriented software components on a Microsoft .NET framework, including web-based workflow and back office applications, for the post-acute healthcare market, including one year of concurrent experience managing subordinate engineers.
