Presenters
RICK GAGNON serves as the Clinical Product Manager for CareCentric. He is a graduate of Sonoma State University in Northern California as a Registered Nurse, Public Health Nurse, and Family Nurse Practitioner. Previously, he practiced as an NP for years in rural California and also has experience in acute care in Infection Control and Quality Assurance. Rick's interest in public health eventually led him to home health care, where he has held several positions ranging from branch manager to corporate director in certified home care and private duty services for large national firms.
JUDY BUNN serves as the Director of Compliance for CareCentric. Previously, Judy managed a successful independently owned HME company in Ohio for 12 years. She spent several years helping suppliers in the former Region B "DMERC" as an Ombudsman, training suppliers in all nine Region B "DMERC" states and the District of Columbia. Judy has used her industry and reimbursement knowledge in various consulting capacities, including training for companies across the country. She recently left her post as Director of Compliance and Education with a national supplier specilizing in high-end rehab to join CareCentric. Utilizing Judy's expertise, especially in the Medicare, Rehab and Respiratory arenas, CareCentric offers training and consultation services nationwide.
GENE TISCHER is an attorney and former agency administrator. He has more than 30 years of home care experience, including tenure as an executive with Medicare certified, licensed and private duty organizations. For more than a decade Gene has been Executive Director of Associated Home Health Industries of Florida, one of the nation's largest home care associations. He is widely recognized as a key industry leader and is a frequent speaker at state association events across the country.
